Board Report: The board met last week, the audit was finished on all Chamber books. There are still panels over at the storage barn that will need to be removed from there. We talked about the welcome to North Plains sign and that the sign is big and very heavy and we will need help lowering to the ground for it to be painted.

City Update: The city is very quiet for now, the Garden club has contacted the city to let them know that they will be growing all the hanging baskets for the city to hang from the light poles. They will be making 48 hanging baskets.

Bob let the board members know that there will be a training session available to them on Friday April 18th. He asked that the Chamber pay the 25.00 per person fee. A motion was made that the Chamber pay 25.00 per person for any of the board members who would like to attend this training seminar, the motion was seconded and the Chamber will pay for the seminar.

Bob introduced our guest speaker. Jim Darr is a citizen representative for the Washington County Fair Grounds Revitalization Task Force. Jim gave an overview of the Washington County fair grounds master plan and answered member’s questions.

The meeting was adjourned @ 1:25.

Respectfully submitted,
Secretary, Patti Burns
